Made for life: The Kasperi way

Some things are made to last, and then there’s Kasperi.
Born in Finland from a deep passion for functionality and timeless design, Kasperi creates products that aren’t just made to be used, they’re made to be lived with, repaired, and passed on.
A Need for Something Better

Kasperi’s journey began with a problem to solve and a vision to craft something that could truly endure. Founder Janne Kasperi Suhonen, a photographer by profession, spent years hauling heavy camera gear around the city by bicycle. None of the bags he bought could keep up. Even a premium waterproof model with a five-year warranty broke down three times, and no improvements were made.

From One Bag to a Brand
So Janne decided to take matters into his own hands. After two years of experimenting with designs and materials, the first Kasperi bag was born. To cover production costs, he made ten bags, kept one and sold the rest. What began as a personal project quickly grew into something much bigger.
As requests came in for new features and custom designs; from camera and DJ bags to Brompton-compatible models, Kasperi evolved with one clear principle: form follows function. Every detail had a purpose, every stitch told a story.

Built to Endure
Over time, the Kasperi range expanded into a collection of versatile, long-lasting products. Its foundation remains unchanged: functional design, local manufacturing, and robust natural materials. Together, these ensure every Kasperi piece is ethical, durable, and built to stand the test of time.
Good design doesn’t age, it evolves. Every mark tells a story, every repair adds character. These are pieces made to be cherished, not replaced.

A Promise That Lasts
Durability, repairability, longevity. These aren’t just principles, they’re a promise. With proper care, these products will accompany you through a lifetime of adventures and perhaps even the next one, too.
Discover Kasperi’s crafted-for-life designs and meet the makers in person at the upcoming Denim Days Market.
