Workshops at House of Denim

This December we have our focus on creativity.


If you would like to learn how to work with denim or just want to upgrade your knowledge, the House of Denim foundation's workshops & courses can be the perfect match for you and might be a good starting point to get that creative boost!

The House of denim foundation is offering unique selections of workshops & courses for anyone who is 'into denim'. All guided by their own experts at their fully equipped 'denim heaven' in Denim City Amsterdam.


The workshops & courses varies in duration from 1/2 day to 5 days, depending on the type of workshop you would like to attend. The number of participants per course, 8 till 15. Prices varies from €89 to €730.



So, what do they offer?


In the following workshops you will learn how to make your own item, from pattern to cutting to sewing. And if you want to laser your product with your own personal touch, this is possible too. All under guidance of their House of denim master tailor.

  • Make your own jeans

  • Make your own kimono

  • Make your own apron

  • Make your own bag



One week course


Next to that they offer an one-week-course in which you'll be working 5 days with denim in mix of theory and hands-on work and learn the basics about denim, sustainability, innovation and crafts(wo)manship. A 1-day theory program with a 1-day intense workshop in their laundry lab is followed by a 3-day workshop “Make your own jeans”. At the end of the week, you’ll walk out the door with a lot of new knowledge and your own made jeans.



Sustainable development course


Last but certainly not least; there is also the possibility to attend a 10-days intensive course on sustainability, circularity, innovation and craftsmanship. From research to design, from development to sales, both on- and offline.
